Volunteer Opportunities

The best way to help the off-leash areas is to volunteer your time and energy. Every member of COLA is a volunteer, and we recognize sometimes you will be able to dedicate more creativity to the job than at other times. We appreciate whatever commitments you are willing to make. Your contribution of volunteer labor, materials, professional services, or cash will be "matched" by cash from the Neighborhood Matching Fund.

Right now, we have a lot of events coming up and especially need people interested in volunteering for these activities:

• Working behind the COLA booth at the Fremont Fair.
• Help plan COLA's Annual Dog-O-Ween fundraiser, held in late October.
• Join the COLA Board! We are always looking for active volunteers.

You can also:

• Sign up for COLA's Action Alerts email list.
• Call our voice-mail number (206-264-5573) and leave us a message. Tell us your name, where you live, your interests, and how we can reach you.
• Join a COLA special-interest Committee.
• Join a work party at your off-leash area. Contact the site steward or watch for posted signs.
