11th Annual Dogoween!  SAVE THE DATE: Saturday, October 23, 2010 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

COLA is planning its 11th annual Dogoween costume contest and ‘fun’draiser.  Your help is needed to make this year's event spectacular!

We're looking for support in the following areas:

• Assistant Event Coordination - love details, details, details?  Want to make things happen?  This is the spot for you!  We need someone willing to help oversee the various details of making this day come together.  You don't have to do it alone; we're here to help, we just need someone who can assist and focus on making this event happen, while we take care of the business of the parks!
• Assistant Donation Wrangler - We have raffle prizes, contest prizes and much more to secure!  With your help, COLA can raise more money to do the things that really need to get done in the parks.  We need assistance contacting businesses to secure donations for this event.  We need help with phone calls, item pick up, making prize baskets, and more
• Dog Park Work Party – Come out on Saturday, October 16, 2010 from 10- Noon to help us clean and spruce up Genesee Park Off Leash Area before the big event!
• Wrap and Stuff Party – give us a hand from 1 pm to 4 pm on Sunday October 17th to put together the ‘goodie’ bags for our costume contest entrants (and their owners) and to make/wrap the prize and raffle baskets.
• Day of Event - Sell raffle tickets, assist with the costume contest participants, handle the concessions booth for drinks & snacks.  Give a couple hours for the set-up, during the event, or help us take it down.  We'd love to have your join us!  Bring your dog and join the party!
• DONATE!  Make a basket we can use to raffle or give as a contest prize for our winning costumed friends!  Donate a gift certificate from your favorite restaurant or business  Items do not have to be specifically dog related.
